Plugging in to NCC

The three-pin plug

Being part of the NCC community is a bit like plugging in with a three-pin plug. We find that to feel securely part of our community we need three connection points:

Sunday celebrations.

For most people, the first place to plug in to NCC is at our Sunday Celebrations. This is where the whole church comes together to worship and receive teaching. You can find more information here: Sunday celebrations

We offer regular “Getting to Know You” lunches after our Sunday celebrations. These are a free, informal lunch with a few of the leadership team and others where we can chat about NCC and get to know you a bit better. If you would like to join us for a Getting to Know You lunch, please ask in the connect area during our Sunday celebration.

Small groups.

With so many people around on a Sunday morning, it can feel difficult to get to know people. This is one of the reasons why we have small groups. These groups meet during the week and are a place to build friendships, worship and pray in a more intimate setting and to go deeper into some Bible teaching.  Our small groups meet on different days at different times, and they all have a slightly different feel and focus (including Children’s and Youth groups), so we hope there will be a group where you can feel at home. For more information about small groups, please ask a volunteer in the connect area during our Sunday Celebration, or contact us.

Serving teams.

We believe that Church is not a service, but a community of people all playing their part. If you decide to make NCC your church “home” we would love for you to join us for our Finding Your Place course. On the course we talk through our vision, values and beliefs, and we help you to work out how you can play your part in the NCC community.
